Portfolio Samples
IMPORTANT—If you experience any problems opening any of the
portfolio files, save the file locally and open it with the
appropriate application such as Word, Visio, etc. |
|
ONLINE HELP—Play, Inc. (1998) This is
a sample file I developed trying to convince the Product
Engineering Director to use RoboHelp to develop the online help
systems for our product line. Its only a sample and small at that.
Gizmos Help
(for I.E., save and then open)* |
|
ONLINE HELP—Intel Corp. (2003) This
file was generated from an internal client (Gemini Project)
request to rebuild a help utility by stripping it down to the
basics, cleaning up grammar and structure, improve clarity,
simplify structure and format it such that it would easily sustain
future development—all of this on a tight budget and short
timeframe. Gemini Help
(for I.E., save and then open)* |
|
SOFTWARE REFERENCE AND TUTORIAL DOCUMENTATION—Play,
Inc. (1998) This is a software manual I wrote. The software is
called Titlewave and is a title/special effects generator for a
video production computer called Trinity.

VISIO* CHARTS—Intel*
Corp. (2003) Everything done internally at Intel seems to happen
on short notice and requires a tight budget. I was asked to
diagram a business site on intel.com for a client. Please
Note: Display on your PC may be influenced by your Visio settings.

MARKETING WRITING—Intel
Corp. (2003) I was asked to write an article for Circuit, Intel's
Intranet magazine, regarding new Flash compatibility for Netscape
browsers. This is a draft I sent to the editor. It is not the
finished product. New Flash* Compatibility
for Netscape* |
|
MARKETING WRITING—Intel
Corp. (2002) I was asked to write an e-mail marketing blast to
Xircom customers announcing the acquisition of Xircom by Intel.
This is not the final version.
Xircom* Email Blast |
|
DATABASE DEV/DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT—Intel
Corp. (2002) During one of my Intel assignments I was asked to
develop a system whereby the entire library of technical documents
could be catalogued and then easily found and retrieved. I
developed a database and connected it to the department Intranet.
This is a screen capture of that interface:

|
EDITING—Intel
Corp. (2002)
I
was assigned the point of contact for editing some of the Santa
Clara campus marketing materials. This file is a PDF draft of a
rivet guide brochure (a rivet held the pages together). My task
was to make my suggestions and markups on it in Acrobat* and
return it to the project manager.
